Love it but there is NO SUCH THING as 12 A.D. A.D. stands for ano domina which is “in the year of our lord”. It’s A.D. 12. Just a pet peeve of mine that theists always less up. Intelligent atheists such as ourselves should strive for better!!

The absolute truth of it, however frustrating the discussion becomes, from either perspective….is that not one of us will know the accuracy of our positions until the point when we can no longer discuss, argue, or share or perspective. Albeit, can’t say I’ve never had the urge to head-butt any.

However, the question was asked ”what if you’re wrong?” - my answer is simple: if I am wrong it just means a lived a good life full of hope, joy and love trying to be the best person I can. If you are wrong, you face eternal misery and torture. "Religious faith is a cognitive dysfunction and a moral vice. To believe in the supernatural is to believe that things can act in ways that are beyond their abilities conditioned their characteristics. The belief in gods of the spirit world who have powerful magic is primitive; it’s sad to see it persist in the era of spaceflight and the iPad. I really wouldn’t care much about what these people believed except for their outrageous moral views and their willingness to impose them on others. Dropping religious faith is a prerequisite to a rational consideration of ethics—the pious are way of the rails."
